God said My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Hos. 4:6.
God is our Father in heaven and He taught us how to pray. Matt. 6:9. How can He be your Father when you don’t hear Him and don’t do the things He says? Why call me Lord, Lord and do not the things I say? – Luke 6:46.
When you hear what a person says, you will do what He says if you want to obey them. The early Christians heard what Jesus said. They heard what God said. They heard what the Holy Spirit said and they did according to what they heard.
Did you hear what He said in II Tim. 2:15? Your life should be approved by God. When you hear what He says, you will do something about what you heard. God is the only one who can tell us how He wants us to live as His child. Search the Scriptures . .
.John 5:39. Are you doing what He told you to do? From reading the Scriptures and searching them daily, did you hear what He said to you?
How have His words changed your life?
Can He tell you, Well Done thy good and faithful servant . . . Matt. 25:21? When He comes will He find you faithful? – Be thou faithful unto death . . . Rev. 2:10 When He comes will He find faith? Luke 18:8.
Everybody should do this. When you wake up in the morning, ask God to help you to put on the whole armor of God. Eph. 6:11.
Ask Him to order your steps and direct your path. Ps. 37:23. Ask Him to help you so that sin will not to have dominion over you. Rom. 6:14.
Have you heard Him? Do you hear Him?
Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your heart. Ps. 95:7, 8.
Hearing is doing – Hearing is acting. In all your getting…Get understanding. Prov. 4:7
